There was a total of 4,500 Real Estate Agents in PPAR as of 12/31/21 – 300 more than the prior year and over 700 more than the year before that. The total number of transaction sides (buyer as one transaction; seller as another) across the entire PPMLS in 2021 equaled 39,959 – an increase of 1,037 sides over the prior year and 6,760 more than the year before that.
Pikes Peak Area Active Agents closed on average 10.54 transaction sides each in 2021 while the top 10% of those Active Agents each closed on average 42.79 transactions last year. This year’s Peak Producer members averaged 47.38 transaction sides each in 2021 – over four times more than the average active agent in the Pikes Peak Area!
The 474 Agents making up the top 10% last year closed a minimum of 21 transactions each, with each Peak Producer this year having closeda minimum of 29 transactions in 2021.
Slightly more than half of the total Agents in the PPMLS – 2,356 or 52.4% – closed three transactions or fewer for the year in 2021. Thirteen percent of the total Agents (587) closed just a single transaction last year, and 15.8% of the total Agents (710) did not close any transactions in 2021.
The 474 active local Agents in the top 10% closed 20,283 transaction sides in 2021, or 50.8% of the total. This year’s 100 Peak Producer members & teams closed 4,738 transaction sides in 2021, or 11.9% of the total of all transactions!
